Meets near the Hawkwatch Platform at the Cape May Point State Park. Not watching birds when in Cape May is like not visiting the Grand Canyon when in Arizona! Join us for a relaxed afternoon of birding whether you are a seasoned birder or have never really watched birds on purpose before. Loaner binoculars will be available and we’ll show you how to use them. No preregistration required. Family-friendly. Cost: $6 members, $10 nonmembers. Varied habitat can be great for breeding birds of the woodlands and meadows. The combination of forest and meadow habitat makes for spectacular views of late summer residents actively foraging.
