Dinosaurs Rock! Travel back in time with us as we learn about how dinosaurs lived. Let’s go on a fantastic fossil find, search for “Cape May Diamonds”, and learn how scientists discover the way things were by studying bones. A Meadows Morning
NEW for 2019! Meets at The Nature Conservancy's South Cape May Meadows Preserve parking lot on Sunset Blvd. End your week, or start your weekend, enjoying the summer birds that nest in or visit this beautiful refuge's freshwater marsh, dunes, and beach. Morning Walks at the Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary
Enjoy a quiet morning here at the Sanctuary walking the trails with an NJ Audubon staff and/or associate naturalist. These walks are informal and informative: birds, trees, tracks, wildflowers, reptiles, and amphibians are a few of nature’s wonders waiting for us to discover. The walks are cancelled if there is heavy snow, rain, or weather warnings. FREE

NEW for 2019! With Chuck Slugg. Meets at the Northwood Center. Our resident expert on all things optics will explain what all those numbers mean, how to choose binoculars and spotting scopes that fit your budget and any special needs you have. You will have the opportunity to field test an array of optics in our backyard wildlife habitat. No preregistration required. Cruisin’ for Chicks on The Skimmer
You don't want to miss this chance to see baby gulls, terns, and Ospreys - the miracle of nature! Amidst the largest Laughing Gull colony in the world and the beautiful back bay, we'll have spectacular, up-close and personal views of adorable chicks, as these little fur-balls peek their heads out from under their parents' wings. Feel free to bring a bottle of wine or a few brews - we'll provide a nice cheese and fruit tray. NEW LOCATION: Trips depart from the South Jersey Marina, 1231 Route 109, Cape May.
