Meets near the Hawkwatch Platform at Cape May Point State Park. Great year-round birding occurs right in the heart of Cape May Point and mixes breeding songbirds, waterbirds, terns and the chance of a passing migrant. No preregistration required. Morning Walks at the Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary
Enjoy a quiet morning here at the Sanctuary walking the trails with an NJ Audubon staff and/or associate naturalist. These walks are informal and informative: birds, trees, tracks, wildflowers, reptiles, and amphibians are a few of nature’s wonders waiting for us to discover. The walks are cancelled if there is heavy snow, rain, or weather warnings. FREE

SHOREBIRD SATURDAYS AT FORSYTHE (BRIGANTINE) NWR
There’s arguably no better all-around summer birding spot in the state than Forsythe NWR. “Brig’s” combination of habitats, easy accessibility, and penchant for attracting rare species make this a perennial favorite. Expect a wide range of species from long-legged wading birds to raptors, rails, and many species of shorebirds, terns, and passerines. Each week is likely to be different as we watch the ebb and flow of summer migration. Nature Infused Yoga: Summer Series
Led by Kristin Mylecraine. Yoga is a great way to relax, connect with yourself, and increase flexibility and strength. Explore the connections between yoga and nature in this 75-minute class. No experience necessary; all levels welcome. For ages 15 years and older. Please arrive 10 minutes early and bring a yoga mat if you have one (some will be provided.) This class will be held weekly from 6/29/19 to 8/24/19. There will be no class 7/6/19. Walk-ins are welcome. To register please call 908-396-6386. Back Bay Birding by Boat on the Osprey
Join Captain Bob and the naturalists and crew of The Osprey for close-up looks at secretive rails, nesting Ospreys, migrant shorebirds, terns, gulls, herons and more. We explore the coastal saltmarsh of Cape May from Cape Island Creek to the Wildwoods and view the natural wonders of historic Cape May Harbor. The Osprey is a 37' pontoon boat that has a comfortable enclosed cabin with large viewing windows, a front deck with a railing, and a restroom on board. Non-motorized wheelchair accessible. “Is anyone here a Marine Biologist?” Get your hands wet and mind blown on an interactive cruise with a focus on underwater life.
