New Jersey Audubon field trips and programs adhere to CDC guidelines; leaders have the right to ask a participant to leave the program if someone is not adhering to these guidelines for the health and safety of all.  Leaders and participants must wear face coverings throughout the program and maintain social distancing (at least 6’ of separation). Leaders may remove their face covering in order to be heard by the group while maintaining social distance. Please do not come to a program if you are sick or have a sick family member.  There will be no sharing of equipment including binoculars or spotting scopes.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PROGRAMS AND FIELD TRIPS

A combination of classroom activities, skills practice and actual hands-on fishing opportunities will fill each half day session. Explore one of the area’s ever-changing coastal habitats -- the beach, ocean, and dunes of Cape May’s “The Cove” beach. We’ll search the shallows, comb the shoreline for treasures, and walk along the dunes in search of wildlife. **Meet a naturalist at the flagpole at the west end of Beach Avenue. Meets at the Nature Conservancy's South Cape May Meadows Preserve parking lot on Sunset Blvd. Watch the sun set behind the lighthouse while birding, and then head for an after-walk dinner when Cape May restaurant crowds have thinned.  No preregistration required.
