Beyond the charming Victorian homes and sandy beaches, Cape May is world famous for its birdwatching, Monarch migration, and natural history. Join Cape May Bird Observatory naturalists on a trolley tour to local "hotspots" (with exits at several spots), learning about the diversity, abundance (millions of birds pass through each year), geography, and extensive history of this amazing spectacle. Relax and be entertained in the birding capital of North America! Co-sponsored by New Jersey Audubon's Cape May Bird Observatory and the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts and Humanities. Stop by Triangle Park, at Lighthouse and Coral Avenues in Cape May Point to learn about the Monarch monitoring Project.  The team may be tagging monarchs, tending to the gardens that support the monarchs, or engaged in other project activity. No preregistration required. Family-friendly. 5pm - dusk in September 4:30pm - dusk in October Meets at the Nature Conservancy's South Cape May Meadows Preserve parking lot on Sunset Blvd. The Meadows attracts herons, egrets, falcons, shorebirds and - rarely - even owls.
