Additional parking is available along New England Road before the parking lot entrance.  Famous for migration, we'll search for warbler, vireos, sparrows, and so much more.  If the winds are right, we could be awash with migrants!  No preregistration required. Led by Scott Barnes and/or Associate Naturalists Start the weekend off early with a half day of birding at Sandy Hook.  Fall is an awesome time to get out birding and each week promises to have a different array of migrants from raptors to flycatchers, warblers, and sparrows.  The wide variety of habitats from maritime woods to wetlands ensures a good variety of species and ever-changing composition each week; be prepared for three hours of walking over easy terrain. Location: Meet at Guardian Park by the Nike Missiles at the entrance for Fort Hancock.
