Led by Kristin Mylecraine. Yoga is a great way to relax, connect with yourself, and increase flexibility and strength. Explore the connections between yoga and nature in this 75-minute class. No experience necessary; all levels welcome. For ages 15 years and older. Please arrive 10 minutes early and bring a yoga mat if you have one (some will be provided.) This class will be held weekly from 9/7/19 to 10/26/19. There will be no class 8/31/2019. Walk-ins are welcome. To register please call 908-396-6386. To register for the full 8-week session, registration is required prior to the first class. You may register for a single class. Cost: Cost for all 8 classes: $88 members, $112 nonmembers. Join Captain Bob and the naturalists and crew of The Osprey for close-up looks at secretive rails, nesting Ospreys, migrant shorebirds, terns, gulls, herons and more. We explore the coastal saltmarsh of Cape May from Cape Island Creek to the Wildwoods and view the natural wonders of historic Cape May Harbor. The Osprey is a 37' pontoon boat that has a comfortable enclosed cabin with large viewing windows, a front deck with a railing, and a restroom on board. Non-motorized wheelchair accessible. Digital Photography Workshop I – Understanding Your Camera

Led by Phil Witt and Dave DesRochers, Associate Naturalists. Workshop 1 will review the basics of understanding your camera.The instructors will go over the camera controls, helping participants understand how the settings work and how changes in settings affect the image. Participants will learn what equipment can be used to achieve different effects. By the end of the workshop, participants will understand lenses, camera bodies (mostly digital single lens reflex bodies), megapixels, shutter speeds, f/stops, focal lengths, apertures, exposure histograms, and depth of field—and how all of these can be used to take good nature photographs. Although the focus will be on nature photography, many of the same principles and equipment needs apply to other kinds of photography as well. Cost: $12 members, $25 non-members. Hawks, Trails and Beach

Meets near the Hawkwatch Platform at the Cape May Point State Park. The afternoon hawk flight is often strong, with lower birds punctuated by late day movements of falcons.
