It's also a great place to see migrant raptors overhead.  Meets in the The Beanery parking lot on Bayshore Rd.  No preregistration required.  Cost: $6 members, $10 nonmembers. Led by Kristin Mylecraine. Yoga is a great way to relax, connect with yourself, and increase flexibility and strength. Explore the connections between yoga and nature in this 75-minute class. No experience necessary; all levels welcome. For ages 15 years and older. Please arrive 10 minutes early and bring a yoga mat if you have one (some will be provided.) This class will be held weekly from 11/2/19 to 1/4/20. There will be no class 11/30/2019 and 12/28/2019. Walk-ins are welcome. To register please call 908-396-6386. To register for the full 8-week session, registration is required prior to the first class. You may register for a single class. Cost: Cost for all 8 classes: $88 members, $112 nonmembers. Cost per class: $12 members, $15 nonmembers.

Join Captain Bob and the naturalists and crew of The Osprey for close-up looks at secretive rails, nesting Ospreys, migrant shorebirds, terns, gulls, herons and more. We explore the coastal saltmarsh of Cape May from Cape Island Creek to the Wildwoods and view the natural wonders of historic Cape May Harbor. The Osprey is a 37' pontoon boat that has a comfortable enclosed cabin with large viewing windows, a front deck with a railing, and a restroom on board. Non-motorized wheelchair accessible. Get inspired by Nature Artist Andy Goldsworthy! We will collect natural materials as we walk, and then use our found treasures to create a temporary masterpiece together. We will leave our artwork at the sanctuary for others to enjoy so don’t forget to take a picture before you leave. This program is appropriate for families with children of all ages. Meets at the Avalon Seawatch location on the Beach between 8th and 9th St., at the north end of Avalon. Join CMBO interpretive naturalists for this outdoor workshop to witness the migration of scoters and other sea ducks, loons, cormorants and gannets. Bring binoculars, scope and tripod, if available. Hawks, Trails and Beach

Meets near the Hawkwatch Platform at the Cape May Point State Park. The afternoon hawk flight is often strong, with lower birds punctuated by late day movements of falcons. Seabirds and shorebirds often pass to rest on the beach and passerines remain to be found on the trails.  No preregistration required. Family-friendly. Cost: $6 members, $10 nonmembers.
