Ed Melega and Jerry Tarrant - Cape May Maritime Museum A multimedia presentation of the Cape May Maritime Museum’s restoration projects and partnerships. Learn and visit vintage USCG 36538 and Monomoy life-saving rescue boats. Talk to past shipmates that assisted in the historic USCG 1952 rescue of the SS Mercer and Pendleton. After the presentation, Ed and Jerry will lead a caravan of interested attendees to the restoration site of the USCG 36538 (Located very close to LCMR HS on Route 9). Also, they will lead a caravan to the CM Point Lighthouse to view the Monomoy Row/Sailboat. Cost: Free Call 609-427-3045 with any questions
