Enjoy a quiet morning here at the Sanctuary walking the trails with an NJ Audubon staff and/or associate naturalist. These walks are informal and informative: birds, trees, tracks, wildflowers, reptiles, and amphibians are a few of nature’s wonders waiting for us to discover. This event has been postponed - new date TBD.  We apologize for any inconvenience  Can you help wildlife and have fun doing it? YES! Join New Jersey Audubon to get your hands dirty creating seed balls! We will make balls of a special mixture of seeds and soil, find a good spot, and…toss them! As supplies allow, extra seed balls can be taken home to spread the fun in yards, vacant lots, or roadsides. This program is open to families and individuals. Includes hands-on identification to common lichens along with a power-point on their cultural uses, history and connection to air pollution as indicators. We will finish with a trail walk. Perfect for teachers, naturalists, scout leaders and nature lovers. Limited to 15 registrants. Cost. $15 members; $20 non-members. To register please call 908-396-6386.
