2021 Cape May Fall Festival

75th Anniversary We are pleased to announce we’ll be hosting our Cape May Fall Festival in person from Thursday evening, October 14th through Sunday, October 17th Fall Festival Highlights Registration will include a selection of field trips, trolley trips, boat trips and indoor programs, as well as our Thursday evening Kick-off Party at the Rusty Nail, sponsored by Kowa! Cape May Convention Hall will be packed with all kinds of nature-related vendors, plus a live show animal show every couple of hours by Nature Nick. The Fall Festival t-shirt and artwork is being designed by Louise Zemaitis and we’re looking forward to some 75th Anniversary merch! Nature Buddies Pre-K Program Owls!

Children ages 3-5 can join the Nature Buddies as we read stories and explore different nature themes. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Dress for the weather. The majority of the program will take place outdoors. Restrooms will be available. Wear closed-toe shoes. Preschoolers can join the fun at the Plainsboro Preserve as Miss Beth guides the Nature Buddies in stories, crafts and walks in nature. Each week we will explore a different nature theme which will delight the young and the young at heart. Every child must have an adult present. Accompanying adult must register for a free ticket. All children present must purchase a ticket. To keep our group size to our determined safety limit please do not bring any guests besides those registered. COST: $10 members, $15 nonmembers. Explore Lorrimer Sanctuary at night during the guided night hike! Come enjoy an evening in the woods with stargazing and learn about nocturnal animals! This activity will take place at night so dress appropriately for the cooler temperatures and bring a flashlight. COST: $10 members, $12 nonmembers.
