Join Scott Barnes and associate naturalists Linda Mack, & Carole Hughes for a full day’s birding at Sandy Hook. The hook is one of the best migrant traps in the state, and should produce a wide range of thrushes, vireos, flycatchers, and warblers; we’ll spend the entire day exploring Sandy Hook’s wide range of habitats and birds. After landbirding slows down, we’ll search for waterfowl, herons, egrets, shorebirds, and raptors. Be prepared for extensive walking including on soft sand.
