Led by Scott Barnes and/or Associate Naturalists Start the weekend off early with a half day of birding at Sandy Hook.  Fall is an awesome time to get out birding and each week promises to have a different array of migrants from raptors to flycatchers, warblers, and sparrows.  The wide variety of habitats from maritime woods to wetlands ensures a good variety of species and ever-changing composition each week; be prepared for three hours of walking over easy terrain. Location: Meet at Guardian Park by the Nike Missiles at the entrance for Fort Hancock.
