With Chuck Slugg. Meets at the Northwood Center in Cape May Point. Learn where to go to find birds and how to identify them. Discover how to get the most out of field guides and optics. For absolute beginners, backyard birders, and any birder who wants to improve their skills. Preregistration required by calling 609-400-3864.  Family-friendly (recommended for age 12 and up). Join Captain Bob and the crew of The Osprey and CMBO Naturalists. The Maurice River is a well-known wintering and nesting area for Bald Eagles. Particiapnts will search for eagles and other raptors, wintering waterfowl, welcome the return of nesting Ospreys, and enjoy the natural beauty of this part of the river, largely inaccessible by land. Departs from the public landing at the City of Millville Municipal Marina on Ware Avenue at the Route 49 intersection (adjacent to Millville municipal complex/city hall). Ample free parking. The Osprey is a 37' pontoon boat that has a comfortable enclosed cabin with large viewing windows, a front deck with a railing, and a restroom on board. Non-motorized wheelchair accessible.
