Join Captain Bob and the crew of The Osprey for close-up looks at secretive rails, nesting Ospreys, migrant shorebirds, terns, gulls, herons and more. We explore the coastal saltmarsh of Cape May from Cape Island Creek to the Wildwoods and view the natural wonders of historic Cape May Harbor. The Osprey is a 37' pontoon boat that has a comfortable enclosed cabin with large viewing windows, a front deck with a railing, and a restroom on board. Non-motorized wheelchair accessible. Cape Island Ocean Festival

Nature Center of Cape May 1600 Delaware Avenue, Cape May

This exciting celebration of the sea includes fun educational activities focused on the beauty and importance of the ocean and how we can all be good stewards of the sea. Festivities will include Harbor Safaris and Horseshoe Crab Labs, creative activities with various local non-profit organizations, short films and lectures, Ocean Friendly food trucks, and a selection of carefully curated local artists selling their ocean themed work. The festival will also include a Paddle and Pedal for a Purpose (a kayak and bike tour of cape island), an ocean-themed yoga practice, and a beach clean-up.   NEW JERSEY AUDUBON'S PROGRAM GUIDELINES: All NJ counties are considered medium to low COVID-19 community levels.  New Jersey Audubon highly recommends that anyone who is not fully vaccinated, wants additional protection, or comes from a higher community level area should consider wearing a mask and social distancing, especially indoors.  Please do not come to a program if you are sick, have a sick family member or have reason to believe you may have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus. CANCELLATION POLICY: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Sorry, no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance unless due to health emergencies; however, registrations can be transferred to another program in the future.
