Preparation, practice and patience: three principles that will help you succeed in any aspect of life will be presented to our young anglers. A combination of classroom activities, skills practice and actual hands-on fishing opportunities will fill each half day session. Included in the camp experience are an offshore fishing trip and a scheduled visit to the Mid Atlantic Fishing Tournament’s weigh-ins. Contact 609-427-3045

Encounter an incredible diversity of marine life as you help pull a twenty-foot seine net through the shallows of Cape May Harbor. You will learn about the ecology of our coastal waters, including the fascinating and ancient Horseshoe Crab. Join us for an evening stroll on the beach to look for these “ghosts” of the night and other nocturnal creatures. Bring a flashlight, and meet at the beach access point at the end of Mount Vernon Ave. There is free parking along the streets after 6:00 p.m. Call 609.427.3045 for directions and registration. Pre-registration is required. Cost: $5 per person; children under 3 free.
