NJ Audubon: Lord Stirling Park Bird Walk
Somerset County Environmental Education Center 190 Lord Stirling Rd, Basking RidgeJoin Dave Oster for a birdwalk at Lord Stirling Park. The Lord Stirling Park birdwalks have had up to 70 species and 13 warbler species in one day. This is a great spot for flycatchers, vireos, warblers, and goodies like Great-horned Owl, Red-headed Woodpecker, Alder Flycatcher, and Marsh Wren. Trails are level but may be wet depending on recent rain. Please bring your own binoculars, and spotting scope if desired. There will be no equipment available to borrow. Registration required. Walk-ins will not be permitted to participate. Ticket sales end on 5/19 at 4:00 PM. COST: $15 members, $20 nonmembers. Interested in becoming a member? IN-PERSON Nature Infused Yoga
New Jersey Audubon's Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary 11 Hardscrabble Road, BernardsvilleLed by Kristin Mylecraine, Yoga Teacher. Yoga is a great way to relax, connect with yourself, and increase flexibility and strength. Explore the connections between yoga and nature in this 75-minute class. No experience necessary; all levels welcome. For ages 15 years and older. Preregistration is required. There will be no class 4/8, 5/13, and 5/27. Ticket sales end at 4:30 PM on the Friday before each class. We are offering an in-person class at the sanctuary and a virtual class online simultaneously. The in-person class has a limit of 10 people. Be sure to purchase the correct ticket. COST: $13 members, $16 nonmembers. Interested in becoming a member?
