DeKorte Park/Mill Creek Marsh

September 9 @ 9:00 am - 1:30 pm

Late summer wading birds, shorebirds, and maybe a few songbird migrants at this productive urban oasis. Led by Scott Barnes & Carole Hughes. The wetlands and uplands of DeKorte can provide an excellent birding experience where a wide range of species including herons, egrets, shorebirds, gulls, and terns may be viewed. Patches of trees and shrubs provide refuge for landbirds. We’ll also try for the resident Monk Parakeets in Secaucus.

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED

COST: $20 Members, $25 Non-members
