Learning on the Fly: Virtual Workshop; Muddy Toes: Identification of Northeastern Wading Birds

June 24 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

With Program Director Melissa Roach. Let’s take a dip in the shallow end with the wading birds of the North Atlantic. We will cover the ranges, habitat preferences, and in-depth identification tips of 15 species of herons, egrets, bitterns, and ibis that can be found in New Jersey and the surrounding states. From the small and secretive Least Bittern to the large and in charge Great Blue Heron, we’ll help you work through these wetland staples.  Preregistration required. This is a virtual event using the ZOOM platform.

Cost: $15 members, $20 nonmembers.
