Learning on the Fly: Virtual Workshop, Waterfowl ID Part I: Puddle Party

February 24, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Join CMBO Program Director Melissa Roach for this virtual workshop as she teaches you how to identify one of her favorite groups of birds. It’s winter, and you know what that means…duck butts galore! With so many species to learn, Waterfowl ID will be broken down into two sections, with 14 species covered each week. The first will focus on dabbling or “puddle” ducks including American and Eurasian Wigeon, Northern Pintail, Gadwall, Green-winged & Blue-winged Teal, and more! Whether you’re new to birding or looking to hone your waterfowl ID skills, this virtual workshop is here to help.

COST: $15 members, $20 nonmembers.
