NJ Audubon: Bearfort Waters & Mossman’s Brook Trail Bird Walk and Old Coal Trail

June 28, 2025 @ 8:00 am - 11:30 am

Led by Dave Oster, Associate Naturalist

We’ll walk portions of Mossman’s Brook Trail and Old Coal Trail to maximize our chances. Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Least and Acadian Flycatcher, Hermit Thrush, Louisiana Waterthrush, and Hooded, Cerulean, Worm-eating, and Black-throated Blue Warblers have been present, plus many other nesting species. Sturdy footwear is recommended as parts of the trail are uneven with loose rock. Often buggy, insect repellent recommended. Please bring your own binoculars, and spotting scope if desired. There will be no equipment available to borrow.

Ticket sales end on 6/27/2025 at 4:00 PM. Registration required. Walk-ins will not be permitted to participate.

COST: $20 members, $25 nonmembers.
