Sandy Hook Birding
Early November is prime time for large numbers of scoters and other waterbirds and is also in the window of time for a big sparrow flight. It’s also a good time for vagrants from points west and south. A wide variety of habitats ensure good bird diversity at one of the state’s best spots. Bring lunch and be prepared for walking over flat and sandy terrain. Led by Linda Mack, Carole Hughes, and Jason Denesevich.
Location: Meet at Parking Lot B, about halfway down the lot by the bathrooms
