That’s Wild! with Virginia Rose of Birdability
December 13, 2021 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

Virginia Rose founded Birdability to share the joys of birding with “every body,” regardless of disability or other health concerns.
About this event:
Virginia Rose is the founder of Birdability, an Austin, Texas-based national non-profit dedicated to encouraging mobility-challenged folks to get outside and experience nature. She started Birdability because she loves to share her joy of birding with others. Virginia was paralyzed in a horseback-riding accident at the age of 14, and has been a manual wheelchair user ever since. She began birding 18 years ago and believes that she discovered her best self and greatest happiness in nature. Virginia is also on the Board of Directors for Travis Audubon.
