New Jersey Audubon field trips and programs adhere to CDC guidelines; leaders have the right to ask a participant to leave the program if someone is not adhering to these guidelines for the health and safety of all.  Leaders and participants must wear face coverings throughout the program and maintain social distancing (at least 6’ of separation). Leaders may remove their face covering in order to be heard by the group while maintaining social distance. Please do not come to a program if you are sick or have a sick family member. People coming from other states should follow New Jersey’s Travel Advisories for COVID -19 before attending a New Jersey Audubon program including 14-day self-quarantine.  For a list of states go to covid19.nj.gov.  There will be no sharing of equipment including binoculars or spotting scopes.

Join awesome NJ Audubon youth birders Andrew and David at Tilcon Lake, Allamuchy State Park.

Led by Andrew Eppedio and David Benvent, NJ Audubon Field Trip Assistants, and Stephanie Punnett, Program Director.

Join awesome NJ Audubon youth birders Andrew and David at Tilcon Lake in search of sparrows, waterfowl, and more. Possibilities include Clay-colored, Vesper, and Savannah Sparrows, Orange-crowned Warbler, Pipit, Snow Buntings, and Eastern Meadowlark.

Andrew and David are avid birders, and have led walks at our Cape May Festival and for Mass Audubon on Martha’s Vineyard. They have been Co-captains for NJ Audubon’s World Series of Birding Youth Team for the past 3 years. They spent many summers participating in NJA camps as campers and as assistants.

COST: $10 members, $15 nonmembers.

Ticket sales end on 10/30/2020 at 5 PM.

***If you have spent time in a state that appears on New Jersey’s Travel Advisories, we request that you do not attend the program and will provide a full refund.***

Please bring your own binoculars, and spotting scope if desired. There will be no equipment available to borrow.

CANCELLATION: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Sorry, no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance unless due to health emergencies; however registrations can be transferred to another program in the future.
