Troy Meadows Bird Walk

April 10 @ 8:30 am - 12:00 pm

Led by Dave Oster, Associate Naturalist

We will walk Troy Meadow Road down to the marsh, and possibly some side trails. In early spring Troy offers an excellent diversity of migrant and breeding birds–Wood Duck, Bald Eagle, Red-shouldered Hawk, Pileated Woodpecker, Eastern Bluebird, and Cedar Waxwing are all regular. In recent years Red-headed Woodpecker has established a nesting presence at Troy and we will make a special effort to hear and see this beautiful bird. And there is always a “surprise” or two at Troy. Be prepared for wet and muddy conditions.

COST: $10 members, $15 nonmembers. One person per ticket.

Registration required. Walk-ins will not be permitted to participate.

Ticket sales end on 4/9/2021 at 5 PM.
