Weequahic Park Birding Walk

With Dave Hall. Visit an urban oasis to search for wintering ducks, gulls, and songbirds. All can be viewed along a trail around the lake. This is an easy walk around the lake in Weequahic Park. Weequahic Park is a park located in the south ward of Newark, New Jersey. Designed by the Olmsted Brothers firm, Weequahic Park has the largest lake in Essex County at 80 acres. Enter at Meeker and Empire Streets, Newark. Meet at the large parking area on the south side of the lake.

Cost: Members $10, Non-members $15
