New Jersey Audubon field trips and programs adhere to CDC guidelines; leaders have the right to ask a participant to leave the program if someone is not adhering to these guidelines for the health and safety of all. Leaders and participants must wear face coverings throughout the program and maintain social distancing (at least 6’ of separation). Leaders may remove their face covering in order to be heard by the group while maintaining social distance. Please do not come to a program if you are sick or have a sick family member. There will be no sharing of equipment including binoculars or spotting scopes.

Winter Solstice Celebration

Join us as we celebrate the first day of winter! During this Open House, you will be able to learn what a winter solstice is, where the wildlife goes this time of year, and about the many cultural celebrations centered around the darkest day of the year. There will be guided nature walks on the hour and refreshments throughout the program. As a bonus, as we welcome the new season we will also welcome our new Sanctuary Director who will share NJA’s conservation successes from the last year and give an overview of the suite of programs and opportunities that will be offered in the upcoming year! ; $5 donation encouraged;
