Trail Guides

One of the most exciting aspects of wildlife watching is never knowing what you might find, and this trail was developed with exploring in mind. Start at the Meadowlands and then enjoy some newly opened, relatively untouched wildlife areas. Hike along the Hackensack River while taking in historic sites. Visit one of the best Fall raptor-watching spots in New Jersey and then experience miles of trails through forested wetlands. Not every site has amenities, so plan ahead and stop along the way. We hope we have given you all the information you need to enjoy this beautiful area.
