Turn Right onto Stathem’s Neck Rd., following it for 0.9 miles to a T where Stathem’s Neck Rd. meets Wheaton Island Rd. Turn Right onto Wheaton Island Rd. and follow the road
0.7 miles to its end at the unimproved boat launch. Map
Open daily from dawn to dusk. Parking available on site.

The habitat here is the same as that described at the Stow Creek Landing Site. The vast expanse of wetlands stretches in all directions. Check the tops of the trees to your left; they provide favorite perching sites for Bald Eagle.
