Pine Barrens Trails

In Southern New Jersey there lies a vast wilderness, reaching from the outskirts of Camden all the way to the Atlantic Ocean.  Within this wilderness exist some of the finest blueberry and cranberry growing facilities in the country, as well as preserved historic villages and countless ghost towns with ruins harkening back to 19th century mill industries.  This wilderness is home to rich folklore - tales of highwaymen, pirates, refugees, international heroes, and legends such as the Jersey Devil.  This wilderness is also the place of scientific legends – discoveries and wonders that thrill botanists, geologists, entomologists, and biologists of all types.  This wilderness is a haven for birders, hikers, paddlers, cyclists, sportsmen, and outdoors enthusiasts across the board. This is the Pine Barrens.  Are you ready to plan your visit?
