New Jersey Audubon teams with the Delaware Riverkeeper Network and Cooper River Watershed Association to develop and conduct limited programming and stewardship on Petty’s Island.

Funding from the New Jersey Natural Lands Trust and the William Penn Foundation sets the foundation for more community outreach and engagement. CITGO, as the current owner of the island supports and encourages education and stewardship efforts. Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority supplies on-the-ground support for shoreline cleanups.
