Experience Raptor Migration at the Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary
Join our Naturalist on the observation deck for a bird’s eye view of fall migration. We’ll be looking for migrating raptors and any passerines passing through. Marvel at the spectacular views of Broad-winged Hawk kettles as they fly over the sanctuary, Bald Eagles, and other raptors. Hawkwatches are scheduled:
Each Thursday beginning September 11th and ending October 30th | Time 1pm to 3pm
Each Friday beginning September 12th and ending October 31st | Time 10am to 12pm
Note: a hawk watch day will be cancelled if there is rain, snow, or weather warnings.
