You will learn how to properly select an optimal treasure to work with and create a custom freeform prong setting for it to become a wearable - in just 3 hours! Choose your favorite sea glass or pottery shard from a variety of options provided, or bring your own! Please keep found objects between 3/4" and 1-1/2" as this size is easiest to work with. Basic jewelry making tools and traditional metalsmithing techniques will be covered, all while overlooking the beautiful Harbor of Cape May. Chain options will be for sale after class if desired. Your workshop ticket will include a donation to the NCCM, helping to support its mission to educate and conserve the native ecosystem our community thrives within. No experience is necessary, this is a skill based class and almost anyone can do it! Students must be at least 18 years of age to attend without an adult.
