The sound of Purple Martins greets you as you step out of your car at the State Park  on these summer days. This morning dolphins were swimming close to shore, below noisy Least Terns fishing from the air above. A distant Indigo Bunting flew in to sing right over our heads while a Yellow-breasted Chat sang right over our heads but could not be found.
