NJ Audubon: Easy Native Plant Propagation

Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary 11 Hardscrabble Rd, Bernardsville

Led by Stephanie Punnett, Program Director Start some native plant seeds and make a pollinator home for your garden. Residential landscapes are becoming increasingly important for the survival of native pollinators and other wildlife and can be home for both humans and wildlife. In this workshop we’ll show you how to create a wildlife garden and a simple way to start native plants from seed. You can make up to five mini-greenhouses from repurposed materials and plant your choice of over twenty species of native plant seeds. Since our last year's workshop, we've a few more species of native plants to the seed collection. As a bonus, make a pollinator home for native bees from recycled materials for your backyard. All materials provided. One person per ticket. Ticket sale ends 1/02 at 4:00 PM. COST: $22 members, $28 nonmembers. Interested in becoming a member?
