The amazing Fungi Kingdom is full of myths, mysteries and marvels. Estimates suggest there are over 5 million species of fungi, with only a small portion of those being identified. We will explore our past, present and future connections to fungi, understand the basic types of mushrooms and their key characteristics and eco-functions. Learn about growing cultivated mushrooms and make a small oyster mushroom farm to take home. Led by Linda Conover of Woodsong Mushrooms. Pre-registration is required. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance.
