Forsythe (Brigantine) NWR

Fall birding at one of the state’s best hotspots. Expect shorebirds, wading birds, marsh birds, and raptors. October at the refuge sees a mix from shorebirds and waders to increasing numbers of waterfowl and birds of prey. Some songbirds may be present in the woods and fields. Led by Mike Mandracchia and Hank Burk.

Location: 800 Great Creek Road, Oceanville, Forsythe NWR at main lot by headquarters.

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED

COST: $20 Members, $25 Non-members

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • Wear long pants and a lightweight long-sleeved shirt
  • Insect repellant is advised
