Wetlands Walk at Hudson Farm

June 13 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Join members of the NJ Audubon stewardship team to tour and learn about Hudson Farm’s 30-acre wetland and floodplain restoration project, which improved water quality and provides critical wildlife habitat in support of the American black duck. Previously a degraded wetland, the site now provides crucial foraging and nesting habitat for migratory waterfowl and other birds. We will discuss the process and steps of this restoration and view birds, plants and other wildlife that now use this valuable habitat. The walking route is about 1 mile over uneven, but flat, terrain.

Rain date will be June 20th at 6pm; registrants will be notified via email if the program is being moved to the rain date. Meeting address and parking instructions will be announced via email prior to the event. Contact Hunter Ross at [email protected] for questions.
