Fall Migrants at the Rea Farm – October4, 2025

Leaders (group 1): Roger Horn, Dennis McKane

Leaders (group 2): Kathy Horn, Bernie Hodgdon

Temp: 68° F

Winds: S 8 mph

Weather Conditions: sunny

A nice morning for the walk at the Rea Farm. Slightly cooler temps kept the mosquitoes down, low South wind and clear skies. Not a vast number of birds but nice quality. We split into 2 groups and walked in opposite directions. Eastern Phoebe, Yellow-breasted Chat, Lincoln’s Sparrow, Baltimore Oriole, a scope view of a Bobolink and American Kestrel. Palm Warbler and Common Yellowthroats were seen as well.
