Leaders (group 1): Kathy & Roger Horn, Bernie Hodgdon

Leaders (group 2): Jackie & Keith Parker, Alan Crawford

Temp: 71° F

Winds:  SE 4 mph

Weather Conditions: cloudy with light drizzle

We had lingering looks at both male and female Wood Ducks this morning, as a flock of about eight birds swam back and forth across the pond at the Beanery. A Common Raven called, sounding quite close, but we didn’t even catch a glimpse of it in the low-hanging clouds. There were lots of migrating Gray Catbirds seen and heard, and a smattering of warblers that included Northern Parula, Black-and-white Warbler, Northern Waterthrush, American Redstart and Common Yellowthroat.
