Spring Birding at Garrett Family Preserve – June 17, 2023

Weather Conditions:

It’s hard to believe it’s almost summer in NJ and we’re still having these warm – not hot or humid – breezy, sunny days, and that the birds are still singing. Our favorite breeding birds at Garrett showed up for us today including Blue Grosbeak, Orchard Oriole, Yellow-breasted Chat, Prairie Warbler and, of course, the ubiquitous-to-the-area, Indigo Bunting. The sound of Osprey calling was a constant and the pollinator field is in full bloom.
