Finally, a warm, sunny, windless morning, the better to see birds perched up and singing! Prairie Warblers, Yellow-breasted Chats and Indigo Buntings are back at Garrett Preserve. White-eyed Vireos are everywhere, and one pair even allowed itself to be seen. Several Osprey were perched on poles along the marsh edges, and we had a brief look at one Orchard Oriole.
