The Montclair Broadwings World Series of Birding Highlight

Last year the Montclair Broadwings, ended the day with an amazing total of 390 species – from six countries and eleven US states, that is. The Montclair Broadwings, organized by former NJA board chairman, Wayne Greenstone, was the year’s dazzling mega-team with 50 team members participating around the world, and raising nearly $10,000 in loving memory of Else Greenstone and for the Montclair Hawkwatch, which Else founded. Did you know New Jersey Audubon Ambassadors can participate anywhere in the world?

This team certainly took full advantage of that with remarkable success and we are grateful for their efforts!
