Above Par Birding at Cox Hall Creek – April 7, 2024

Leaders:  Kathy Horn, Roger Horn, Ruth Bergstrom, Barry Hershfeld

Temp: 45°F

Winds:  N 5 mph

Weather Conditions: sunny

Ruby-crowned Kinglet’s are among the group of tiny birds with giant voices; the one that sang in the wetwoods this morning sounded more giant than average, as its voice echoed between the trees. Pine Warblers trilled in a few places, a Common Loon flew overhead and a group of Rusty Blackbirds, birds endangered in NJ, displayed in some treetops.
