Several small groups of Purple Finches showed up on this morning’s walk, all female, exhibiting their broad white eyebrows. We spotted small numbers of raptors, but they represented six different species. It was interesting to study both White-breasted and Red-breasted Nuthatches as they fed close in the cedars.
