Birding Cape May Point – April 15, 2023

Leaders: Kathy Horn, Roger Horn, Bernie Hodgdon, Barry Hershfeld

Temp: 58°F

Winds: SW 8 mph

Weather Conditions: FOGGY

This morning’s fog restricted our view, especially over the water, but really allowed us to focus on birding by ear. Many of our heard birds were also seen, providing a great opportunity to watch the birds sing. Field Sparrows and Northern Mockingbirds were particularly vocal along the dune, Common Yellow-throats along the marsh boardwalk, Pine Warblers in the wooded area and Forsters Terns could be heard throughout the park.
