The warblers we’re all so eagerly awaiting are gradually showing up. Today we had five species; Common Yellowthroats were singing throughout the park, Prairie Warblers were doing a whispered song, Pine Warblers were trilling, a Black-and-white Warbler fed busily but silently, and Yellow-rumped Warblers were still chipping here and there. A flock of about 20 Glossy Ibis circled before landing in one of the ponds, beautifully displaying their multicolored plumage in the morning sun.
