Birding Cape May Point – August 12, 2023

Leaders: Kathy Horn, Roger Horn, Bernie Hodgdon, John McElroy

Temp: 75°F

Winds: SW 6mph

Weather Conditions: sunny

There was a very nice variety of birds on our walk this morning at the State Park. Four species of terns fed in the close rips, we had good views of Yellow and Prairie Warblers as well as Common Yellowthroats, and both Cedar Waxwings and Orchard Oriole gave us tree-top looks. A flock of Stilt Sandpipers flew overhead, followed by another of yellowlegs.
