Leaders: Kathy Horn, Roger Horn, Bernie Hodgdon

Temp: 50° F

Winds:  W 5-15 mph

Weather Conditions: Cloudy

We had great looks at Field Sparrows and Tree Swallows along the dunes on our walk this morning, Many Northern Gannets were flying out over the bay, along with scoters, loons, and cormorants. But the undisputed star of the day was a Barred Owl, spotted by a sharp-eyed participant as it perched on a branch not far from the trail.
