What a beautiful morning for a first-of-season walk at the Rea Farm! Early on, Common Yellowthroats were pretty cooperative in showing us their key ID features. A flock of Bobolinks were much less cooperative, just giving us glimpses as they flew across the field and landed out of sight in the grasses. Several Ruby-throated Hummingbirds were feeding along the flowery field edges and Green Herons foraged in the large pond.
